City of Waterloo issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
Best Western Plus Executive Residency Waterloo – Cedar Falls will celebrate its grand opening on October 29, 2020.
Majority owner of the hotel Brian Kern, President and CEO of Makenda along with Rod Lindquist, Vice President of Makenda Development will provide comment and take questions during the press event. Kern was recently named Best Western's "2020 Developer of the Year." Tom Busch, Regional Director of Development for Best Western, and Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart will also speak with the press.
The public event is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a ribbon cutting by the Grow Cedar Valley Ambassadors at 5:30. Refreshments will be served.
Please use the main lobby entrance. Staff will direct to the conference area. Masks are requested and social distancing encouraged.
