In order to streamline transportation affairs, the Transportation Commission of Iowa will conduct a meeting in Waterloo on April 14.
According to WCF Courier, the transportation department is going to hold a public meeting at the Courtyard by Marriott in Waterloo to address and streamline all transportation affairs and hear from representatives of local government, general public and various interest groups.
The major subjects that are to be addressed and discussed in the meeting are the policies regarding transportation, public transit issues, programs related to transportation improvement and highway as well as aviation issues. Issues regarding rail, bicycle and pedestrian movements will also be heard in the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting will be available for public viewing before the meeting starts on their website. The meeting itself has been divided into two parts, a brief business meeting at 8 a.m. followed by a public input program.
