City of Waterloo issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
The Waterloo Community Development Office will be hosting Lead Abatement Worker (24 Hour) training and Worker to Contractor (16 Hour) training.
Training and materials are being offered at no charge to workers who perform work that disturbs painted surfaces.
When: February 10th-14th 2020
Where: Waterloo HazMat Regional Training Center, 1925 Newell Street Waterloo, Iowa 50707
These training sessions each day will begin at
8:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m.
Please be prepared to take lunch break “on your own”
Pre-registration is required. This training is limited to the first 25 participants registered.
