City of Cedar Falls issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.
Make new connections during the Volunteers on Tap event on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at SingleSpeed Brewery in Waterloo!
The event is designed to match young professionals with hospitality-related non-profits in the Cedar Valley to serve in long-term leadership roles. Last year, Volunteers on Tap drew 26 organizations and over 80 volunteers. 207 referrals were made and many of these volunteers continue to serve the organizations they were matched with.
Organizations can register for the event here. Pre-registration is required for organizations wishing to participate and space is limited. The deadline to register is December 13, 2019. If your organization will be attending, please bring business cards and information about volunteer opportunities to the event to share with participants.
