Senior David Hansen participated in the school’s school-to-work internship program during Trimester 3 with Power Engineering & Manufacturing (PEM) in Waterloo. PEM specializes in the custom design and manufacturing of heavy-duty gearboxes.
Their gearboxes are operating throughout the United States and in more than 48 countries around the world. David got to work in the welding department and is even working on getting industry certified. We greatly appreciate their partnership and providing our student this work experience opportunity!
