City of Cedar Falls recently issued the following announcement.

Beginning on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, a private contractor will be closing West 18th Street between Clark Drive and Summit Drive for sanitary sewer-related utility work. 

In order for the contractor to begin, a full road closure of West 18th Street will be required. 

This road closure will start at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday and will be in effect for approximately two (2) days, depending on the weather. 

For safety’s sake, please stay away from the construction area.
