Road Closure Notice: South Main Street (Greenhill to Bluebell Road)
Beginning on, or after, August 3, 2022, the contractor will start Stage 3 reconstruction of the Greenhill Road and South Main Street intersection. In order for the contractor to begin pavement removal, a full road closure of South Main Street from Greenhill Road to Bluebell Road will be required. The road closure will be in effect while the contractor works on pavement removal, storm sewer, water main, and new pavement on the southern half of South Main Street and Greenhill Road. The intersection will be a three-way stop controlled intersection, and South Main Street traffic will be advised to detour using Coneflower Parkway and Bluebell Road. Below, you will find a map with the closure area highlighted.
For safety’s sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street. It would be advisable to stay behind the sidewalk on the property side during the reconstruction work.
