QUINCY, ILL–The RedTail Women’s Bowling team tied for third place at their last regular season competition on February 18-19, 2023.

The RedTails finished with an overall total of 6730 pins, tying with Wartburg College. “The girls had their best performance thus far this season,” said head coach Roger Taylor. “They all kept the energy up and fought for a chance to make the top 2 for the finals of the event. They may have ended in a tie for 3rd with Wartburg, but with how well they bounced back from bad shots and stayed hyped all weekend, I can’t be happier for them.”

Brianna Ross was the top finisher for the women, coming in at ninth place. Ross totaled 863 pins over five games to average 172.6. Kaitlyn Gifford finished in 11th, knocking down 853 pins and averaging 170.6 pins per game over the weekend. Lauren Funk totaled 821 pins for a five game average of 164.2.
