The City of Cedar Falls has hired Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC to perform preliminary and final design services for the Main Street Reconstruction Project. The project generally includes the reconstruction of Main Street between Seerley Boulevard and 6th Street.

The community is invited to a public informational meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to Main Street. The meeting will feature exhibits that illustrate planned improvements along the corridor and the anticipated schedule. Attendees will hear updates on the design progress, learn more about the proposed improvements, and ask questions related to the project.

The meeting will be held on October 4, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Community Center (528 Main Street in Cedar Falls). The meeting will include a formal presentation. Following the presentation, the design consultant and City staff will be available to answer questions regarding the project for the remainder of the meeting time.
