Cedar Falls Public Safety is partnering with Fareway to host an open house for the community on August 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Public Safety Building located at 4600 South Main Street.

All ages are welcome to attend and guests will be able to tour the facility as well as police and fire vehicles. Visitors will also be able to meet personnel and tour vehicles from the Iowa State Patrol, Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, and MercyOne. Fareway will be providing hot dogs, water, and chips for the event.

“Our team is excited to connect with citizens during this event,” said Cedar Falls Captain Jeff Sitzmann. “Ensuring the community, particularly younger children, are comfortable and familiar with local public safety personnel is a vital part of serving our city. We look forward to seeing everyone out and thank Fareway for their partnership!”
