The Hawkeye Community College RedTails gathered for their banquet and awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 27, where Carlie Hoppe was awarded Female Rising RedTail Award.

Hoppe has had a great year on the track and field team. She is dedicated to school and track and field, as she has received NJCAA Third Team Academic All American and three time- First Team Academic All Region Honors. 

While maintaining her 3.8 GPA, she competes in multiple events, including the Heptathlon and Pentathlon. Hoppe also works a part-time job and is an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as the president.

“She is always up for a challenge and gives 120% at the task at hand. Carlie is an outstanding leader of RedTail Athletics,” said head coach Tyler Mulder.
