Overall, Buchanan County registered 1,160 people across 609 households receiving food stamps in 2024. In 2015, there were 1,784 residents assisted by the program living in 817 households.
Since 2015, $22,117,876 has been allocated to Buchanan County as part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
