Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district, has recently highlighted legislative efforts and national security concerns in a series of posts on her social media account.

On April 15, 2026, Hinson expressed support for honoring Iowa State Representative Martin Graber: “Iowa State Representative Martin Graber embodied a life of patriotism and service to Iowans. I am proud to support renaming the Fort Madison Post Office in his honor and ensure his legacy lives on. https://t.co/YwJUzkGhdM”

The following day, April 16, she drew attention to criminal investigations involving foreign actors: “I just asked ICE Director Todd Lyons about investigations into CCP crime rings. Watch the disturbing news he shared with me: https://t.co/nTWHWifAbC”

Later that same day, Hinson discussed challenges facing agricultural producers: “We should be looking at all options & using all tools to give our farmers the relief they deserve amid high ag input costs. Hinson has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer and previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently residing in Marion, Hinson graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004.
