| 8:15am–9:45am | Morning Kenote: Workplace 4.0: Using Data to Develop Leadership That Lasts – Joel Bennett Industry 4.0 is a new phase in the Industrial Revolution that focuses heavily on interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data. While companies have begun to embrace this future, few have considered how it will impact their workplace culture. In this session, we’ll explore how organizations can develop their leaders in ways that utilize a practical, change-focused methodology that leverages real-time data. We’ll also share case studies from manufacturing organizations who have used connection, technology and data to help develop their leaders capable of managing such a change in their workplace. |

| 10:00am–11:00am | Workplace Retention and What to Expect with the Next Generation – Ashley Stanley This interactive presentation will present culture and values that promote your organization.  The focus will be on trends and expectations for the projected future of work and will provide recommendations to help business leaders develop the right employee retention strategies, address the new workplace and the newer generations. |

| 11:15am–12:00pm | Automation and Robotics Center at TechWorks Campus –  Srdjan Golub Hawkeye Community College is establishing a regional Automation and Robotics Center at the TechWorks campus in downtown Waterloo. The new center will offer programming focused on industry 4.0 subjects to high school and adult students, incumbent workers, apprentices and businesses. Featuring an open concept lab and competency based education the center will allow for flexibility and multiple on and  off ramps for students looking to upskill in high demand occupations. Initial programing will focus on fundamentals of advanced manufacturing, CNC Machinist program and industrial maintenance and mechatronics programing. Future programming will focus on smart factory automation, Robotics and integration of systems. Q & A will follow the presentation. |
